America Waffles is hiring an Experienced Line Cook!
As a Line Cook, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Consistently prepare, cook, plate and finish all food items according to America Waffles Diner procedures and standards 2. Comply with all food safety requirements such as checking and maintaining temperature, dating and labeling products, rotating products so that oldest is used first. 3. Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period. 4. Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications. 5.Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, fryers, burners,and refrigeration equipment. 6. Handle, store and rotate all products properly. 7. Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed. 8. Complete side work for station and shift. 9. Close the kitchen correctly. Follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing stations and the kitchen. 10. Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
